IMO it would be a cool little detail if all physical damage also caused few points of additional stun damage. Like 5 stun dmg per bullet connected. This would cause people to drop uncoscious, even when armour blocked the damage, which would be both realistic and intresting game mechanic to add some depth.

This could be further expanded to grenades too. And it would be a cool way to differentiate projectile weapons and energy weapons (which wouldn't cause stun dmg)

Yes or no, what people think?

Agree.

but,  but,  BUT  :D

  1. automedKit is broken, and my repeating  effort convince Chriss to a reasonable setting  had no positive result.  Therfore any tuning of  stun dmg is waste, becouse stun dmg is simply  deleted  every turn. So this is the first task to do !
  2. Stun dmg gauge on soldier cards is made by a UI madMan. Like one pixel wide line is  straight  facepalm reward. BUT - No-one cares.
  3. In  your idea, Balistic means - physical bullet ?  It could  differentiate weapons someehow, yes. BUT, enyonee  who get any hit or dmg will testify, that ANY  dmg  cause stun. For example, people hit by electricity or heat are in state of shock. That is Stun dmg. So perhaps it  would make a better sense add Stun dmg  to any form of dmg BUT more to weapons  with physical bullets ?
  4. And what about  melle, they have also physical form. When you get hit by a knife are you in state of shock ?

Yes, I agree. All damage should cause some stun dmg. Otherwise, player units wouldn't suffer any of this after phase 1.

If we succeed to convince  Crisss  fix automed, then my another request would be, fix the soldier  card on top screen to make  Stun dmg  actually visible without a  looking glass.  THEN my other request  will be : "  Where the fuk   are aliens weapons causing stun ?

I  mean purposely build alien stun weapons.

Aliens are capturing people, how they convince them to  step into the abduction  tubes ?  ..... Psionics , stun weapons ?
