What happened: v6.29, during UFO recovery combat encounter in desert One of my soldiers was mind controlled by one of the purple psyons The psyon was optimistically taking cover behind an RV I machine gunned the psyon with another soldier. the mg burst killed the psyon and also sprayed into the RV, which detonated The RV explosion suppressed two of my soldiers, including the one who had been mind controlled by that psyon -- the game displayed two "suppressed" notifications above these soldiers. The soldier who hadn't been mind controlled was indeed suppressed, with no TU But, the soldier who had been freed from mind control during the same attack ended up with a full TU bar! What i expected to happen: If the game displays that a soldier has been suppressed then during that turn they should be suppressed with no TU. This is a pretty rare interaction and is kind of amusing and the weirdness is resolved in the player's favour, so could be left as is. (tangent: with enough handwaving we can figure out a lore explanation. Cognitive whiplash of regaining mind control overcomes negative mental states of suppression. With enough funding, maybe the science team can develop an additional armour mod that reacts to soldiers experiencing physical or mental trauma by autonomously mind controlling and freeing the soldier to power cycle their mental state and trigger this benefit intentionally. this is starting to sound a little like a Peter Watts novella...) Hey there, thanks for taking the time to post these bug reports! The detailed breakdown is very much appreciated. We'll look into this mind control issue and figure out what's going on. Though we would very much appreciate if you can press F11 whenever you spot a bug.
