anotherdevil
Got shot through the front door of the ufo (into the big compartment) and could shoot back through it. I never opened it, and had to do so later
Quartermaster
I believe this is error also has the effect that is in the following thread: http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php?528-V8.5-Ground-Combat-Invivsible-wall I believe it is a function of the door's spectre (which controls orientation, visibility, etc.) is oriented to the NE instead of the NW. anotherdevil
I thought that blocked the ability to shoot. With this you can see through an object, not have an invisible object blocking LOS
Quartermaster
The issue is that there is an incongruence with where the door is shown on screen and where it is for LOS and movement purposes. Although it is shown as if it is there it isn't. Instead the actual door (which affects LOS and movement) is facing to the NE inside of the craft on the same tile. anotherdevil
you sure? Makes sense, but a door is a door... Also anyone else finding it impossible to open the top most door on the back of the scout?
Sathra
No...I tested that for the Bug List, and it seemed to work fine. Then again, I might have just checked that the door could be entered.
Quartermaster
I just checked the spectre and in my files it is still facing the NE, which creates the soldier LOS & appeared position incongruence. Belmakor
Had this same problem also. Lost 6 men trying to storm the damn thing but they kept getting one shot killed by an alien who was getting two reaction fires to my zero.
Chris
Yup that'll be the misaligned sprite. It'll be fixed in the next version.
