Boppity Bipper Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 (edited) I was playing a base defense mission and had stunned a wraith elite. This wraith was killed several different times in different ways (through save scumming) while laying on the ground before I decided to pick the body up and place it into the inventory of one of my soldiers before moving him several tiles away back into cover which appeared to be much safer. This however was proven incorrect as immediately a shot from the crossfire had landed on the tile which the body had previously occupied, immediately teleporting the wraith out of my soldiers inventory back onto the ground before being killed by the shot that had put the body there in the first place. It is as if the wraith seems to be able to occupy two spaces at once, and upon being shot at decides that it would rather die, a quantum conundrum it would seem. Although I hadn't targeted the tile itself, I was able to reload and repeat the glitch. P.S. Targeting the tile I found that the game seems to think that the wraith is still standing there. Attacking the ground tile and attacking the wraith superposition both result in quantum suicide. Edited May 27, 2025 by Boppity Bipper further testing Quote

This is a rather strange one, can you try loading a save for this base defense mission(ideally on the turn when the crossfire happened after you moved the soldier) and press F11? This will open the bug report tool and will prompt to generate a .zip file. Please send us the .zip file so we can take a look. Quote

If I knew about the f11 I would've done so, but If I ever get the chance to recreate it I'll make sure I create the file next time. In the meantime, to be as specific as possible, this wraith was shot and then stunned with a baton before the glitch described previously. Quote

Do let us know if you encounter it again, thanks for the reply! Quote
