[5.29.0 - Ground Combat] Permanent Accuracy Loss

Recommended Posts

Description: Soldiers are losing base ("Soldier Attribute" in the tooltip) Accuracy after a mission where they were wounded.

What happened: I played through the Atlas Base mission in a new game to make sure the Accuracy loss issue from 5.28.1 was fixed. Of 5 wounded soldiers, one (Nigel Vos) lost 1 base Accuracy, going from 44 to 43. The other four suffered the usual temporary penalty but their base Accuracy stayed the same.

Further info: This is a different issue from the 5.28.1 bug, which was much more severe. Even taking very serious wounds doesn't seem to reliably trigger 1 Acc loss now.

Thanks for the report! We've made a fix for this on 5.30, which should now prevent this from happening. Do note however, that this will require you to load prior to a ground combat mission (so a before mission autosave, etc) for the fix to work. Loading into existing GC missions can still bug out your soldier's accuracy stat!
