[5.18 Tactical] UFO exterior not showing up

Hi,

I am on veteran difficulty but customised it to show health and damage and allow auto-resolution of UFO intercepts. (I know, wimp!)

I was doing a mission raiding a cruiser UFO and noticed the Fog of War seemed to not be disappearing as my units got closer to it. Then I realised that the bottom layer of the exterior of the UFO is not showing. Once I got my units around the front and could see into the UFO it helped a bit but the exterior was still not showing properly. (attached screenshot) If I move the view up a level everything is showing normally so it is only the ground level that didn't work.  It also seems to only be for the cruiser UFO (although I haven't got far enough in the campaign to encounter any UFO type that comes after that; but all the ones that came before were fine.)

Thanks. Can you attach a save game if you have one? If not, I'll take a look on Monday and it'll hopefully be a simple fix.

Hi,

apologies, I have lost track of the game save - in fact I am not even sure where to get them, but if I come across it again I will post it.

It might be a while though; I am currently repeatedly failing at the UOO1 Bridge mission, in spite of all my scum saving - talk about that UFO Enemy Unknown  sense of despair - it is quite nostalgic!
