How to capture an alien in beta?

Flashbang grenades spit out suppression, making the aliens unable to reaction fire and lose half their TUs on their next turn.

Smoke grenades spit out smoke (duh), and that smoke can stun them if they spend too much time in the smoke. It also (main purpose) greatly reduces the accuracy of anyone caught in it, and the accuracy of someone shooting at someone in smoke.

Stun grenades are what you're looking for. They're a mite underpowered (in my opinion) at the moment, but they'll be your best bet. Also, stun rods can be used to capture a live alien, although I've not used them yet and don't know how they'll work out.
