Infinitum
As I'm sure have been pointed out before, units placed behind containers and the like cannot be targeted directly, and the remove walls button does nothing to alleviate this. It'd be better to have it remove ALL terrain outlines except enemies to remove the need for pixel-hunting.
GizmoGomez
Maybe once you see an alien, it could make tiles around him transparent, like it does for our soldiers. Something, so we can select them for attack. Also, make aliens a priority when aiming at stuff. To often I can't shoot the alien because something's in the way, and I have to pixel hunt to find it. erutan
I've had a few times where an alien behind cover had no chance to hit, yet my sniper hits 2/3 shots... then misses a 95% on another target afterwards. Odd that.
crusherven
Yeah, Erutan. The sniper rifle seems to have some accuracy reporting bugs peculiar to itself.
erutan
Somewhat related, the drones can't seem to be targeted via squadsight if they're hovering over objects. I also had a terror mission where I couldn't target a sebillian crouching on the sidewalk near a building, had to use explosives + lure him away to shoot. Infinitum
Would the game engine allow seeing (and targeting) unit outlines through interfering terrain? If so, that would probably be the cleanest fix here.
Matthew
This issue was reported before, and i had a suggestion how to fix it. We will see
GizmoGomez
May we hear your suggestion Matthew? *looks around for eavesdroppers* Or is it a secret?
