V4.26.0 - Engineering / Laser Battery Upgrade / Gauss Battery Upgrade

Description: I am not able to build the Gauss Battery upgrade for the base due to the Laser Battery Upgrade not being done.

I somehow do not have the Laser Battery Upgrade available even thou I have researched the Laser weapons including the Laser Lance and I have built the Gauss weapons including the Gauss Blaster.

I do not have any mods installed.

It could be that I did not build the Laser Battery from engineering and now that the Gauss Blaster is unlocked that it removed the option to build it so that I am now stuck.

Thanks for posting a bug report! Unfortunately, I can't download your save as it requires requesting access, can you change the drive permissions so we can access the file?

I changed the permission on the the file. you should be able to download it now.

Thanks. I've taken a look at this and it's actually a very simple fix - you've started the Laser Battery project in your third base, but you've got no engineers there so it never completed and it's just sat there. If you cancel it there you can finish it at your main base instead.

We'll have to add some kind of warning to prevent players getting into that situation in the first place though, so this was still a useful bug report.

EDIT - actually, there already is a "no engineers at this base" warning, so I think this one may be on you

Suggestions:
- show one-off projects in the active project list in every base (but, e.g. greyed out)

- keep one-off projects in the available project list, but greyed out
