sethpetryjohnson
Description: I was playing an abduction mission and the game crashed when I right-clicked on a captured civilian to release them. What Happened: Not sure if it's relevant, but I think I had switched to a different (non-game) window and then switched back, and then immediately right-clicked on a captured civilian pod. I believe my solder was close to the end of their APs, there was probably only a single alien left alive, and a soldier had been killed a turn or two prior. bug_report_2024-07-05-10h13_gc_4.12.2_unhandled_exception.zip

I believe this bug should be fixed on the latest patch, but ground combat saves from 4.12.2 are not compatible with the latest versions so you'll need to load a Geoscape save prior to the GC mission. All you need to do is to switch to the experimental branch of the game, of which I'll be linking a guide below. Let us know if you're still having this problem!
