Lobuno
The interface lags a lot, i.e. but not limited to: clicking on the different base sections (garage, research, etc) takes too long to load that section, also clicking over the soldiers in the ARMORY takes around 1.5 seconds to load the image/stats every time. It happens all over the time mainly in the geoscape part of the game. Tried to fix changing all visual options without success. It's really a chore. PS. Game is installed in a Samsung 840 EVO SATA SSD. Can play most AAA 3D games at 60fps without issues. Edited June 13, 2023 by Lobuno
Alienkiller
Have you played long at a stretch? If yes, an very easy Step helps to play fully normal again. Completly going out of the Game (therefore Save) to Steam or Desctop an Restart. Then it works fully normal again. When you playing to long at a stretch, then this small and easy to fix Problem shows up.

Do you have the same problem on the standard Steam branch rather than the Experimental builds? The Experimental builds always run much more slowly than standard builds as they have a lot of extra debug info in them. The hard drive the game is installed on does certainly play a role in load times for this sort of thing, but the other parts of your PC will also matter a lot too. What's your CPU and GPU, and do you know how much RAM you have?
