[v25.3 - Geoscape] Unable to assign soldiers to base defense mission after unassigning

The base defense mission automatically fills the roster with all available vehicles and sentry guns first, and after that soldiers. However, if I unassign any soldier/sentry/vehicle I cannot reassign them - that option is disabled until there is only one sentry or vehicle in total. There's probably a check for normal missions that needs to be disabled here.

 

Edit: oh and there are infinite blue shirts for the sentries to equip as a weapon. Not sure how that would work (:

And while I'm here, is this considered normal?

Just in case you might have missed multiple, there are a few other bug reports without replies (v25+ reports currently starting at page 7 here: https://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/index.php?/forum/33-xenonauts-2-bug-reports/page/7/&sortby=posts&sortdirection=asc). Some are duplicates that have already been fixed though

Hi Guys, Bug: Soldiers cannot be reassigned to base defense mission after unassignment in Geoscape v25.3. This issue prevents players from adequately protecting their bases and requires a fix to allow proper assignment of soldiers for defense missions.

Thanks. Yeah, this is now fixed in the version that's currently on the Experimental branches!
