[V23.7 - Geoscape] 2nd assault on 2 downed craft without Return to base

I attacked a crash site then after completing (1 soldier lost no others wounded) than I attacked a 2nd crashsite with the same team in x3 dropship without returning to base

what happened -

after he initial attack on the downed ship i saved (have the save point if you want it to see what occurs) i saved the game and went to attack the 2nd downed alien ship, at the point of hitting attack screen to confirm landing the game exits with no errors (back to desktop)

further information - 

• loading the save to the last point on my manual save reproduces the issue
• system info at bottom of thread - Attached
