V21 - Base screen: can't build hangars

In the base screen, for some reason I can't build hangars.  I can click on Hangars from the menu but there is no 4x4 placement tooltip and if I click somewhere it doesn't do anything.  It was working fine earlier in the game.

Thanks. Again, the hangars work fine if I load that save and try to place a new one. Is it the same for you?

It's a bit concerning how many things seem to be breaking only while the game is running.

I will check when I finish my current mission (which, incidentally, just crashed after I clicked "end turn" but was fine after I loaded the save game from the end of that turn)

So I deleted the directories and reinstalled the game, and if anything it's more unstable. Weird little things going wrong that I can't replicate if I quit and road. Also loads of CTDs that don't replicate on reload but seen to have something to do with assigning assets or something like that
