[v15.1 Ground combat] game freezes at alien turn

Thanks. Yes, I can reproduce this from the save, so I'll have a chat to the coders tomorrow and see if we can get it fixed.

The problem is that lots of different bugs cause the AI to hang, so these bugs should always be reported fresh each new build - it might be a totally different bug that just looks the same to the player!

Got the same too again with the Observer-UFO-Ground-Mission and Aliens attacking with Plasma-Weapons in beginning March. Save get uploaded too.

In the same Time 2 Bombers with 2 Fighters as Escort searching for Targets. 1 Bomber with Escort is already shot down from my 2 X-25 Interceptors (upgraded Acceleratet Gun). ;):cool:

Thanks. Took a couple of tries to repro the issue from that save but I did get it. I'll discuss it with the coders tomorrow, see if it's the same issue as geno was suffering above or something different. Either way we'll fix it for the hotfix.

I am not a coder  but I think to avoid it you should have something like a timer for AI: 30 sec gone after AI turn start - end AI turn doesnt matter what it was doing.
