However, when I clicked on the crash site to start the mission, the map type was boreal logging. Which seems strange given the location of the crash site - see image. Yeah, that's extremely strange actually - I've checked the biome mask and there's no boreal areas anywhere near that, the closest is in Russia. Do you have the save game at all?
