Annex
At 1920*1200 everything in the game is tiny (cant imagine playing this on a 30" screen). The UI needs to scale to maintain readable proportions with higher resolutions and the game world itself could use a zoom feature so your soldiers and world elements arent so ridiculously small. Arturius
Lead developer mentioned he will look into font size as soon as he gets a new monitor But seriously, yes, right now text is kinda small on high resoultions, but that issue might be adressed in next builds or in beta. Regarding zoom feature, I am not sure it can be introduced into Xenonauts...

Gauddlike
The UI and fonts will scale on different resolutions once they are finalised. There has been little point so far dedicating time to making the placeholders work at different resolutions as they will be replaced at some point. You are out of luck on the zooming ground combat though. The engine doesn't really support zooming, possibly due to the fact that all of the graphics are made up of spritesheets with a pre determined resolution that would not be able to alter to suit different zoom levels. The engine itself may be able to handle it but all you would get would be closer views of blurry images, like zooming in on a paint image rather than zooming in on a google map. So what exactly is the "target" resolution the devs are designing this game for? Like what resolution do they recommend players play at to get the game looking "the way the devs imagined it". Anything from 21.5-inch or up is almost always 1920*1080 or higher. I just checked the steam hardware survey from may 2012 and sure enough that is the most popular resolution. Either way its good to hear that at least the UI will be scaling
Gorlom
Either way its good to hear that at least the UI will be scaling Very little is finalized. This game isn't even in beta stage yet. There are still some features missing and a lot is up for fine tuning and polish still.
Tegalad
Yeah, right now I get headache when looking on this tiny text (btw, my screens native resolution is 2560x1440). Hope the devs don't forget about those changes.
