[v4.2 Combat] LoS Through Floor

Is this LoS  through the floor by design or is this a defect?

I have also had this problem, with Aliens in the second floor of their craft, poring great amount of fire onto xenonauts , as they enter, and move around the alien craft!.

Is this an error, or a defence mechanism of alien craft, and will there be a counter measure for this later in the research tree??

It's a bug, yeah. It's the most widely reported bug in the game at the moment from our error reports, so we're looking into it at the moment and hopefully it'll be fixed for V5.

@Keflin by the way, what armour are your soldiers equipped with there that makes them bright purple? Is that the Exosuit or something else?

Yes. For some reason in the Armory view, the females have purple and the males have black, but once deployed everyone is purple.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't really expecting people to play that far into the game, guess I'd best get the art sorted for the Exosuit sooner rather than later then

I get this issue every time I am on a mission with a two-storey UFO. They wipe out all my squad as soon as I enter because they don't seem to think there's a floor. I think it's a flaw. (sorry for that dad pun)
