Thanks. I think this one is now fixed in the latest update, Hotfix V4.2.

I found the output.log folder, but where does this Mission_18_Ufo.json come from? I only ask because I want to make sure that when I provide logs and screen shots, I am giving all available diagnostic information that I can.

By the way, the "red text" then ctd scenario, is that "red text" captured somewhere?

The .json files are savegames. You find them in the "Saves" folder next to the Logs folder. If he has a Mission_18_Ufo.json, that means he did save the game before the mission and named it "Mission_18_Ufo" in the save menu.

Yup, the save games and logs are in /My Documents/My Games/Xenonauts 2. The red text you see coming up on the screen when the game crashes should get printed into the logs as well, which is why they're so handy for us
