Is there any way to change the numeric designation of your troops?

I typically operate with two squads, each having a sniper and machine gunner and whatever else. Ideally, one squad would be 1-4 and the other 5-8, but it doesn't work out. When I put them on the Chinook, the troops have a number assigned down at the bottom and I don't see a way to change it.

Unassign them all, and assign them back one by one in the order you want. However, this breaks the moment you get wounded/killed troops and start to replace them.

The final version hopefully handles it better.

I handle it on the fly when disembarking, in that I pick the people for the fire teams by whatever weapon the current soldier carries.

As a suggestion, it could be handled by the devs this way:

- allow the player to assign a given slot in the dropship the gear he wants to have there

- slot soldiers into the slots either by aptitude or selection of player

If you assign the slots you use in the dropship a certain loadout, you will at least have always the same arms type in the same place, even if the individual soldier changed.
