Jean-Luc
This AG article is quite nice, it includes some Goldhawk history as well which could be interesting to newer arrivals: http://www.armchairgeneral.com/xenonauts-pc-game-preview.htm
thothkins
It's a shame it's makes a fluff about the old X-Com interception. There's one comment at the bottom, and it's about that But it jolted me as I was reading it.
Gauddlike
I played the game for years before I realised you could do that.
thothkins
I just learned that you could just take the little counters down through zero to get to a maximum on the other side. I was watching Wolfy's let's play when I noticed that. I'd never even thought about it. D'Oh

raidsoft
That's probably more of a bad design for X-Com though that so many missed that feature entirely, it wasn't clear that it was even possible to do and you kind of had to accidentally stumble upon it. targetbsp
X-Com* is my favourite game of all time. I was such a fan of laser Squad I actually bought my first PC primarily for X-Com. So I've played it a lot. And I never knew you could do that! lol *or UFO as we used to call it in the old days before this internet thing took off and we started using the American name for the game. Gauddlike
I played the original on the playstation in the UK so I have always known it as x-com: enemy unknown. I always figured that was a bug that got left in because of its usefulness rather than an intentional feature.
weatherx
just saw a kickstarter game project (carmagedden reincarnation) doing a second AMA (ask me anything) on reddit. Chris can do something similar to boost public interest.

Gorlom
do cyborg pirate gorillas trump robotic chef ninjas? Yes, mostly because the robot chef ninja curbstomps himself by being a robot and a chef at the same time but also because pirate > ninja. Chris
Hicks - the $100 name option will remain open until the game is released, most likely.
