like drages said, you could have missed some. There are basically 4 types of aliens to catch + the Leader Class. This is beside the combat class aliens which are a different class overall, and the specialist class which is another class besides the one you need for the weapon tech trees

  • Operator ( Every UFO has its unique one, so depending on the phase the total number of operators varies)
  • Bomber Operator ( only found in bomber UFOs, which spawn rarely, and rarely even have them onboard)
  • Terror Operator ( only found on on terror sites, base attacks and special UFOs )
  • Base Assault Operator ( only spawn in base assaults )
  • Leader Class

The Xpedia gives you the full list. Heres the one from phase 1. The list excludes combat class captures, which are mandatory for everything anyway. There are Guards ( Phase 1 ), Soldier ( Phase 2 ), Warrior ( Phase 3 ), and Elites ( Phase 4 ) and psionics.

Well anyway now we have an good overview of the different aliens we might encounter:

•Operator Corvette 
•Early Terror Operator 
•Early Assault Operator 
•Early Bomber Operator 
•Weapon Sergeant 
•Navigator 
•Technician 
•Medic

Pressing V kills all aliens but after the result screen the game freezes.

Staying inside the UFO for 5 turns will win you the mission as well.

This is no secret, it gets explained at the first ground combat mission.

You know that you shouldnt use either auto- or quicksaves ? Unless ofcourse you know what you are doing.

Patch 0.99.33 - is going live

Notes:

  • X-Division 99.3 and higher will need the X-Division 0.99 Beta Part 2 mod to be deactivated, as it is no longer needed
  • X-Divison has gone the step to replace vanilla files. There has been an original file added for every replaced one in case you want to deinstall the mod. In case of doubt make a reinstall of the game or verify game integrity through steam.
  • Before applying patches withdraw all scientists and engineers from their current projects. You can reapply them afterwards.
  • You only need to download and install the latest Patch avaialble, it contains all prior fixes as well.
  • The .32 to .33 patch shouldnt need a new campaign

 

Installation:

  1. Extract the "assets" folder into the main game "Xenonauts" folder. Merge and overwrite.
  2. After applying patches follow step 5. and 7. from the main installation process again.

Suppression is now only at burst weapons and shotguns. 

So shotguns smg and rifles got little, heavies moderate and mini guns got most suppression now.  

This is for 1. Phase weapons only for now.

One a more serious note though if the map runs out of "Drone" Spawn points it uses random ones. This time it quadrupled down in a shower. I think thats equally hard to deal with as it is funny.

Hi!

So I have installed (and reinstalled) everything in right order, but after applying patch 99.33, my game decided to flood me with those ERROR messages, without launching. Does anybody have a solution?

UFF. I guess you have been playing since the 99.1 days ?

ManTech.MiG32 doesnt exist, its the vanilla entry but until 99.2 you could unlock it. Hm ... but thats about save games and not about starting up the game.

Check if the manufacture_categories.xml is there.

If that doesnt help disable (delete or rename) the manufactures.xml in the assets/ folder
