Today I just finished my first full play through in Xenonaunts community edition(Second completed game total) and it has been a blast. I added a few mods here and ther, and along with everything else that has been fixed and added, it made the game such a pleasure. I have been playing Xenonaunts for quite a long time and I remember when we had a flat TU cost for shooting which allowed snipers with sufficient TUs to fire two aimed shots along with enemies just unloading dozens of shots as soon as a step was made into the UFO. I remember fondly the time when Aliens were throwing unlimited grenades from inside the UFOs through the walls and hull. Best defense mechanism ever. It has been a fun ride and I might play another run later. Thanks you Max Caine, Chris, Kabill, and all you too numerous to mention guys as well.
