are electroshock grenades bugged? i researched them but cant seem to access them or build them.

are the reaper Rhinos a bit too hard to KO or is it just me i had four guys surrounding it hitting it with stun sticks for two turns before it went down.

since foxtrots cant roll they are essentially useless as wile a single condor can take down a light scout a foxtrot cant so unless it gets the ability to fire heavy missiles (1 heavy and one light mount perhaps) it is worthless in my book. also i don't think it should require alien alloys and parts to manufacture since it is unlocked before you know how to acquire them in most cases and Lore says its just a modified mig.

i unlocked lasers before next gen ballistics is that supposed to happen?

sometimes a flamethrower is allowed to fire on targets outside of its maximum range but if you fire the fire (no pun intended... well kinda actually lol) it will lock up all your units preventing them from moving or doing anything else until next turn

Welcome werewind!

The game is slow more then it should be i know that and i will handle it at ver 0.99 with so many new things again.. i dont want to touch that speed settings or any other things to stop your current progress..

Alloy Heavy Machinegun should be the weapon you are looking for and its at Advanced tech (tier 2), one of the last weapons of it... if you dont see it please send me save file. You can upload here..

Dont worry tier 3, it will open with plasma weapons.. all alloy weapon serie is tier 2..

Ummm yes, i checked shock weapons and they got a missing " at its code.. i corrected it.. thx.. tomorrow i will publish it with vehicle patch...

Rhinos are tough yes :) they are rhino..

Foxtrot sucks.. condors ftw.. condors became my new "rifle" nightmare.. condors are everywhere.. i will handle all the air issues at my "Crimson Skies" DLC..

Lasers before even nextgen.. omg.. did you catch the right alien with right weapons same time? Its intended, to give you a crap energy weapon as fast as possible. You are lucky, you wont have any problem against sebs...

Flame thrower is not a real thrower so even i gave it tons of accuracy it can sometimes miss and burn somewhere else. The game has no limit for bullets if there is nothing to stop it.. the real flamethrower mechanic is abandoned by devs after beta i think.. maybe CE warriors can revive it..

PROGRESS UPDATE

Vehicles.. more vehicles..

Coding and graphics finished. Planned for total 10 vehicles but last second artillery problem sadly made me delay my 2 artillery.. maybe later..

All new vehicles including old defender-saviour got totally new skins now..

- Hunter: Now got a new machinegun and flamer upgrade and alenium missiles!! light armour- very heavy fire power with missiles

- Seeker: Upgraded Hunter with plasma and fusion rockets with huge damage potential and with a vulcan autocannon!!!

- Scimitar: you know it has cannons.. medium armour - heavy fire power!

- Saber: Upgraded scimitar!! better cannons!

- Defender: Heavy tank with a low damage cannon.. very heavy armour - weak fire power.. cant use energy weapons

- Saviour: Best armoured vehicle. very slow

- Hyperion: Got cannons, got armour and fast!

- Centurion: Not armoured as saviour but much faster...

Scimitar-Defender-Hyperion can use only plasma and lower weapons.. fusion and others will be for their upgraded versions.

Energy cannons like pulse laser/plasma/fusion (MAC vehicle weapon became fusion energy cannon) will be again one shot cannons with energy damage. I am waiting for DUAL weapon vehicle support from CE to give gattling weapons to vehicles.. for this reason Hyperion is not fully useful for now..

Upgraded vehicles will need their default one to manufacture. They will carry unique weapons too which you will get from rare aliens from rare missions.. maybe even there can be rare 3. upgrades.. but these will be added at "Unique Enemies DLC" :)

I planned to give some tactical and gas weapons to vehicles like smoke or stun but i didnt do that. I didnt want to give all abilities to vehicles.. Some vehicles will make u carry less shields, some for rocket launcher but not for tactical advantage.

I tested most of it.. at least the game dont crash at drop or garage menus.. GC graphics work as i tested some. Ofcourse there should be some leaks i forgot to put or test..

So what is left... some balancing at vehicles stats.. manufactures and putting them to research chain..

The unmanned tanks in the game are more larger than this...it's funny how your heavy tanks are similar in size with the Hunter Scout Car and its so puny comparing to the unmanned tanks.

I'm guessing it must be Charlie that could not carry a larger tanks, and adjusting the graphics might have a graphic glitch.

So let's just call it light tanks. Cos they really cannot be called Heavy tanks for some reason.

well the maximum takeoff weight of a CH-47 Chinook is 50,000lbs. however the charlie is an improved Chinook with upgraded armor engines fuel tanks and electronics. assuming its lifting capacity was reduced 15% you can carry 42,500lbs. subtract the approximately 28,000lb loaded weight of the chopper itself (assuming increased weight) and you have 14,500lbs of carrying capacity. the weight of a ferret armored car AKA Hunter is 3700lbs. therefore it could theoretically carry just under four of them in terms of gross payload. infantry weigh a lot less than vehicles so assuming a ten man squad with a combined mass of around 2,600lbs (assuming average adult male weight of 180lbs and US army average 80lbs of gear. you still have 11,900lbs to spare and a vehicle weighting 11.9 tons is very light for a true armored vehicle. even a Humvee weighs around 5900lbs. so yeah no heavy tanks. you need a really big chopper for that

is that perhaps due to the fact that the charlie can only accept a 3x3 vehicle? so it would crash if a larger one was added if someone tried to put it in a charlie? also it seems maps are designed to leave 3 wide paths for vehicles so for larger onesyou may need to re code the maps

As long as vehicles are 1x1 or 3x3 they work well.There are some unused units in the assets that were meant to be 2 x 2 tiles large or multi-story but I imagine they were cut because of the difficulty of handling LOS and such.

At least this was a case before CE and new LoS system, maybe it's different story now but since no one tried anything like that I can't tell.

Can you also tell me what's funny in what I just said? Did I misspelled tanks?

Nothing really in what you said.I just think that "heavy tanks" don't have necessary to be giant war machines,especially in sci-fi game.

beautifull work there dragues, i found the new scimitar tank sexy ;), ok jokes aside xD...idk if i said this before but, i feel the tiger is like a more heavier version of the hunter but still ligther than a scimitar, so IMHO i feel scimitar fits better in the role of heavy armor and heavy cannon tank(specially cuz it use allien alloys). While tiger is more a fast and lighter version of an "standar" tank(russian t55 and american M60...i mean im pretty sure that is a M551 sheridan LIGHT tank).. but is just my idea :P. Nice work there buddy.

Hmm yes.. it happened as u said..

The game had a hidden little bug.. it doesnt open the tier tab if the basic weapons dont researched.. so you need to research plasma weapons.. you need to catch caesan weapon officer as sson as possible.. after that you will have the weapons.. but as i checked you got so few alive specialist interrogation... you need to stop killing them :)..

You are not at a bad point, you got good weapons.. you just need to stun specialists for 2-3 ufos at next..

- Sell the dropship

- Go to equipment screen - OK in CE, but empty in CE+X-Division

Any idea how to fix?

The equipment bug still exists win X-Division, however it has been fixed in CE 0.32 HF2:

- Start new game with all default settings

- Go to equipment screen - Seems OK

- Sell the dropship

- Go to equipment screen - OK in CE, but empty in CE+X-Division

Any idea how to fix?

I dont have CE 32 HF2 for now but did u have another dropship when u sold one?

This bug is very strange because its not a mod thing.. i realy cant understand why.. i will check by myself after i start to use CE 32 but now i am working on mod itself..

I did not do anything else, just sold the initial dropship. Then, with X-Division, the soldier equip window became totally empty.

There was a bug in CE, but that has been fixed...

can u just erase the sequipview.lua file at xdivision/scripts and try again?

but how will i get rid of it with a hot fix :)

can u try to copy that file from XCE folders and put into the xdivision/scripts please?.. if it works i can make a hotfix to replace that file.. because i cant make u erase it with hotfix..

So now you play it with 1.57 and 0.32 hf 2 without any problem?

Thank you, it workes as you said. I've captured a Caesan officer (who was somehow on a Sebillian cruiser) and after some research third tier has unlocked. I even got a minigun that I produced two months ago.
