Lore is a little clumsy, and it can show in like first 15 minutes.

I'm talking about that alien fugitive research you get quite fast in game (after first ground combat mission, I believe)

It's lore says that one Caesan decided to desert and walked up to your base, where he was captured by one of your man with previous experience in dealing with caesans. Moreover, your guest starts shaking in terror after you show him a corpse of xenomorph.

But there is a slight problem - I researched this right after my first combat mission (downed scout UFO). That scout contained ONLY sebillians (reptiloid dudes).

So there are 2 problems:

1) at the moment of researching that fugitive my men have NEVER seen a caesan, and have no experience in capturing one

2) at that moment my men have never seen a xenomorph, and obviously there could be no xenomorph corpse at our base ( what is even funnier, if I recall correctly, xenomorph's own lore at xenowikia tells us that after death corpse gets dissolved in acid - one less reason to have a corpse at our base, even if we DID fight them at the time of alien fugitive technology gets fully researched)

It might be a small thing to complain about, but you have to agree that it's quite a heavy blow to mod's lore. And like half of this game's charm is depending on it's lore.

So please fix it. I would suggest delaying availability of alien fugitive technology by a month or two - by that time you would definitely fight those two species at least once.

Using 0982 with ce 033. I can reload the Nextgen Heavy Machinegun. 54 TU and ammo (Backpack) present.

edit: found out, that it takes 55 TU to reload. This should be changed. My poor guy shouldnt be THAT stupid that he isnt able to reload... or THAT slow neither...

One more think - please someone tell me how i can get better guns than nexGen for soldiers and standard missile's for aircraft's? i have 3 alien bases to capture but with this weapons it's impossible :/.

it is possible, but very ... very much save\load. It makes sense to take on the mission a heavy tank. It is perfect to block a base corridors. Also it is good idea to take in squad at least 2 Flamethrower - very effective to take down this sneaky xenomorphs and reapers. Always keep them on snap fire.

Heh i think you're right, i wrote "middle game" because i spent about 10h to reach this point :). About better guns please tell me what should i do to research something better ? i don't have heavy tank as well.

Scout or Adv.Scout is good enough for this.

You should capture all color specimen of aliens - this is so called "specialists", which interrogation give you new branches of techs

Hey

You can safely play the mod with 1.59 and 0.33 CE.. for short with the final versions both game and CE edition. BUT you xdivision should be on top and you should activate only XCE, settings,balance and map additions. No other mods are allowed to use with xdivision. Some balance mods could work with it but i cant guarantee.

Only one xenomoprh is invisible (the standing one) which nobody knows the reason.

Hello...back from the dead. Are you talking about the xenomorph warrior? He is invis on my install under certain conditions.

yes that one... and i dont know that reloaded weapon bug.. ppl talk about that kind of bugs about inventory and ammo so its something about main game.. this game got a huge ammo problem, at every coding..

I think I know what the problem is for the warrior. It has xml files for crouchidle but no corresponding image files. I made and tested the images already, pretty sure it's working fine. Here is the patch:

What is this reload bug? I will keep playing but I haven't encountered it yet.

What is this reload bug? I will keep playing but I haven't encountered it yet.

I found another instance of the xeno warrior that is invis. I will look into it and see if I can get a fix for this one as well

Found the problem...there is a typo in the idle_s.xml file as well. I corrected it and added the file to the rar

I will keep playing and try to fix any bugs I run into.....so far I've only encountered the invisible alien though. You've made some good progress since the last time I played it's really cool.

I assume you know about the problem with soldiers when they're holding an assault shield+advanced shock baton and the graphic showing them unarmed? Is this fixed for 0.99 or should I take a poke at that as well?

K so I found out the xenomorph drone also has an invis issue with I think it was the west direction. I forgot to save at that point so I could make/test a patch for it though. I will try to remember next time I see it so I can post a fix.
