There is no soldiers in scouts.. put an ss of the mission report, we will see who they are..

Specialists are weak, not tougher then others.. but i see that many aliens in ufo.. i changed it but after the hotfix 5..

btw can u please test the "shotguns lowering alien TU" .. i will eat something.. i couldn't stand up for hours.. its like group chat here :P

Ah. My bad. I was looking at the sprite/model of one of the Sebi specialists there and it looked like one of them was using the Sebi soldier sprite (just colored red). And seriously man, don't let us keep you from getting something to eat. xD

research issue to fix i think....:) : vehicle weapon cannon is avaible on research but is the on you have researching the first tank as no other is avaible on vehicle weapon menu...

Heh.. its a nice surprise yes.. i will handle it with 0.98.1..

Hahahha.. yeah black screens of death... i am sitting in front of the computer and fighting with photoshop for those entries... but i liked them realy.. i dont like something easily when i create it.. i am a bit perfection guy..

I put 0.98 eralier to catch the bugs/unbalanced things before.. and it worked.. many lame things handled.. I am waiting someone finish the mod.. probably 0.99 and 1.0 will be much faster..

about the non combatant grenade changing color thingy...this is a bug in the game, it appears that goldenhawk never intended that NC would be able to throw nades, if you search in your main folder:

assets>units>alien>caesan>noncombatant>none:

then you'll notice there are the grenades sprite animation,but used a guard(blue) sprite instead, i guess this is because as i said it wasnt intended that NC could throw but added it anyway so the game would not CTD if for some reason(this mod for example) made then do it...so if you want to keep then popping 'nades with their proper red shit color..then it should fixed in THAT folder....

On a side note do you think this should be reported in the bug thread???

No its not a bug.. When u go deeper at this game modding you see that some devs used short ways.. They could add something more but they stoped when its ok for main game.. sometimes they hit a wall and tried to handle it with other ways. You can see this clearly if you look to kabills CE project topic.. From ammos, to xenopedia entries.. from two weapon vehicles to looting alien grenade/ammos.. I know that Chris worked many temporary devs to finish this project.. and i am very thankful to him.. we can handle this little touches and Kabill at CE team.. its like a dream..

I didnt know until somedays that some aliens dont have sprites to throw grenades.. to be honest, why should a NC alien have grenade? its not logical.. did u see a scientist with a grenade at his pocket? heh...

DONT FORGET TO CHECK "HERE"!!!

think I found a bug? I research particle weapons and can make the pistol but picture does not show up n the weapons tab just like after researching advanced particle weapons the sniper rifle does not show up? is this right?

I didn't understand anything. And how did u come to particle weapons already..

I played through on easy setting have to admit even at that setting the first few weapons tech are not very good to weak

can u send me a save game. I want to see an end game progress. So if you catched every specialist and get the all researchs then it means the research chain works.. its very important to me.

Nice, got to play a bit with the hotfix 5 and caesans aren't as dangerous as before, that heavy plasma barrage was deadly.

I lucked out and I was able to corner a xenomorph with 3 of my baton guys, all of them wearing jackal armors, they took a lot of damage but I baton'd down a xenomorph (I feel like the Predator lol) and I laughed when I saw the tech description "not very dangerous not a threat". 10/10

Anyone else being able to confirm the decrease in TU's when shooting at aliens? I mean I got the next gen shotgun, in the description it reads clear it's made to confront reapers and/or xenomorphs and they still absorb quite an amount of damage before going down, I'm talking resistance not health points.

Great work with the caesans, now they pose a threat but a better balanced threat... I'm now gonna keep hunting sebilians to check this a bit further. keep it up mate great job!

I am missing something the xenomorphs don't attack my soldiers in fact none of the xenomorphs do not even the potoreian. is this right? or is there a setting

I've experienced that they have a "terror unit" pattern, they first go and kil all civs and armed civs then they target the xenonauts, I'm starting to believe their purpose is to lower your mission score by killing the neutral units. My advice? flamethrowers and rocket launchers, I can't get to save most of the civs because they're extremely fast and of top of that they do regenerate and have resistances. But I love how they troll me.
