mrsisk
I don't think you can reserve AP with Hunters...I don't think they have a reaction AI. I haven't tried it with machinegunners, though. HOWEVER, I did have a soldier equipped with a machinegun whose STRENGTH was so low that he didn't have the AP to even fire the gun! I mean without moving. He had 30 AP, the machinegun required 32 AP to fire. I can see that kind of issue interfering with reserving AP.
winterwolves
The guy could definitely fire the machine gun normally, and you used to be able to reserve aps to fire with the hunters. I often use it as a way of not moving so far you see an alien, just to allow him to shoot you, because you do noy have any aps left.
Gauddlike
There is a bug with the vehicle AP reserve slider. When you select another trooper then go back to the vehicle it duplicates that troopers reserve slider. If you had recently moved someone who ran out of AP then when you select the vehicle it would all be greyed out due to that other trooper being unable to reserve anything. Could that have been the cause of the bug you saw? *edit* Scratch that, I am now having the same problem. I had obviously not tried to reserve AP with a machine gunner before sorry! Gauddlike
I am assuming it has something to do with burst fire being at the bottom of the slider. The machine gun cannot use singleshot so the top options are greyed out. Maybe the slider will not allow you to select an option that is beyond a greyed out stage.
