silencer Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Detecting base building mission. How you differentiate that this UFO is on base building mission rather than Terror mission ? I'm currently in February and I didn't have any alien base to get that base upgrade nor to get hyperwave decoder. So now my main UFOs are Cruisers and I would like to know if that UFO is on a base mission. P.S. Looks like I posted in wrong section. Please move to General discussion. kabill Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Well, at the stage you're at I think you'll still be getting Cruisers for Terror Missions. Cruisers are Large while Carriers IIRC are Huge so you can tell that way. Equally, if you look in aircrafts.xml you can see the UFO's speed and can tell from that what class of UFO it is. Only Corvette's, Landing Ships, Crusiers and Battleships can preform terror missions. You can check the mission profiles on the wiki here.
