Ragefury
I worked this up to see if I could come up with the most efficient global coverage. Anyone have something more efficient? Alpha 0 radars X2325 Y1663 Bravo 0 radars X4810 Y1252 Charlie 2 radars X7972 Y0663 NA 3 radars X1762 Y0983 SA 3 radars X2845 Y2191 Euro 3 radars X3927 Y0931 Africa 3 radars X5096 Y2009 Australia 3 radars X7364 Y2321 Asia 3 radars X6221 Y0754
crusherven
What's the total monthly upkeep on all those?
Chthon
What's the total monthly upkeep on all those? From the looks of the image it's illegible as always. I wish they'd fix the fonts there
silencer
The image should be bigger. If I may ask - why bases without radars?
Chthon
The image should be bigger. If I may ask - why bases without radars? Looks to me that it might be due to the fact that it'd completely overlap coverage (almost) and radars are one of the more expensive items for both initial cost and upkeep. Dranak
What's the total monthly upkeep on all those? Looks like about 21 radars, which would be just over 1M/month and another half million on command centers.

Kiel
 Dude... you just... meh... It is possible to cover the entire globe with just three bases (3 radars each). Also take a note that alien ships are still visible outside the actual radar range, i.e. you there's some extra coverage. With your scheme 1 radar per base is ok (maybe 2 in some cases). Todd
wow what a waste. Where does the money grow on trees? A base in england? A base with no radars? So much extra useless ocean coverage and overlapping
HammerHead
Just put 3 bases near the equator, it's probably the most cost efficient thing to do.
