catmorbid Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Download: Version 1.0 Description This is a very simple mod that replaces the annoying click sound with a less annoying sound. It includes two alternative click sounds, the first one (default in mod) is similar to the original, just edited to be a bit softer on the ears. The other sound is more like a bleep. Installation & compatibility Unzip to xenonauts installation folder overwriting as needed. Only one xml is modifier (sounds.xml) so unless the mod affects that, you're good to go. If sounds.xml is affected, you can easily edit the sounds in yourself: 1. Open sounds.xml in text editor 2. find "click" 3. replace the entry "sound/click.ogg" with either "sound/soft_click.ogg" or "sound/soft_click2.ogg" 4. you might want to turn volume up to 0.9 or 1.0, otherwise it might be a bit too silent.
