Is it possible to make the UFO sighted window on the map view transparent or smaller?

It is so annoying that it is huge and hides the UFO itself with a great chance...

Hmm, it should be transparent. Strange, i need to check this.

I have not installed your mod yet. If it is done, then I definitely will!

Just checked this myself - unless you're referring to a different window than the one I looked at it is in fact partially transparent as I remember it being in previous versions.

Do you have all the other dialogs transparent?

EDIT: Ah, okay you havn't installed the mod. Yeah.. all the dialogs should be transparent. :)

Hi skitso thanks a lot for this! i love it and i glad its finally made compatible (thanks kabill, you r awesome too).

Btw i got a little doubt because i want to add it but "incomplete" without the blue earth maps, ufo icons and some of the base images...so aside deleting those specific files, i dont have to do anything else right?, something special with XML or something?.

Cheers for your amazing work pal, keep going :).

EDIT:

tried it, added using modding tools and the activate it...inmediatly get CTD launching the game :c.

Dont know if there is something im doing wrong.

using xce 0.31

I did some experiments with the images for the equipment/weapons and added some shadows. I think it adds a bit more atmosphere and depth. In the second image: a medikit without shadows and one with shadows.

This issue I reported over in the X:CE bug report might be this mod problem. I also encountered another problem with the mod with X:CE 0.34, sorry I don't have a screenshot for the error.

Threw the mod launcher I add the new mod, then I activate it and run the game once with it, then I close game out. This time with mod launcher I disable the mod and play game again, and there are elements of the GUI still present. I notice it in the option menu, the settings for the audio are grey color instead of green. When I am in battlescape and I select solider inventory there is gray elements in there from the mod and also the "X" to close out some windows aren't there. Even when I delete the mod from the mod launcher, it doesn't work. It seems like there are things left over.

Just had this same issue - activated this mod Skitso's Oppressive UI, used once, decided to deactivate (really loved the vignetted backgrounds but the other stuff wasn't for me), but UI elements still persisted - notably the soldier stats bars stayed grey/black instead of the vanilla/ce colour of green, plus some other minor things.     Then I completely uninstalled/reinstalled the game and UI elements from this mod still persisted even then! Just ran a full C:/ search for "Xenonauts" and purged everything - i think you are right it was stuff still in the C:\Users\%username%\AppData\ folders, found a bunch of scripts in the Roaming folder still persisting after game uninstall

Thanks so much! Also forgot to ask about these >.< Sorry for being such a bother man!

Not sure yet, but If I decide to, how would I remove the black frame behind the "Alien Turn" words and Icon?

AlienTurn.jpg

And which file to change the "Objective" at the bottom of the screen, to match the other white geoscape text?

Objective.jpg

Last things I promise! How would I go about darkening the unactive text in the research and workshop tabs to see these a little better? (not that it matters much but I'd like to learn)

Darken.jpg

For highlighted personnel, how would I go about changing the "highlight" itself to better see what my cursor is on? I'd like to change it to the black frame with white text when highlighted ala chosen research projects, and keep the current look when not highlighted. (see attachment for pic)In addition, you can experience some games at minecraft 1.20 download mod apk
