Game tells me that theres an alien somewhere but all i can see is the ground shadow of an alien. I can also aim at it. but i cannot fire because the aim grid wont turn red and stays gray. AradoX Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Try this: (it seems to work for me) I believe I have a fix for this issue.The problem seems to be a typo in assets\units\alien\caesan\noncombatant\weapon.AlienPlasmaPistol\soldier_spectre.xml Replace caesan/weapon with caesan/noncombatant/weapon and the game is able to find the right animation. Go to the caesan\noncombatant\weapon\weapon.AlienPlasmaPistol directory and find the file soldier_spectre.xml This file you edit in e.g. Notepad There are alot of lines, so the fastest way is to "Search and Replace" (ctrl+H on my computer) Find: caesan/weapon Replace with: caesan/noncombatant/weapon Did that help?
