  1. I played this game a few times, but still cannot understand stun mechanics clearly. I have the foollowing questions: How stun damage, which can be taken by target before it is incapacitated, relates to it's hitpoints? Is this amount reduced when target's HP lowers? Are there two separate amounts - normal HP and "stun HP", or normal HP defines, how many stun damage can be taken in one turn? If there are some sort of "stun HP" - is it regenerated? an how fast? If i throw a dozen of stun grenades at target and then end turn - such target would be easier to knock down at the nex turn, or all stun damage dealt will go in vain? For example: i had soldier critically wounded (7/60 HP). Then he was incapacitaed when walked in stun gas cloud. If i heal him to 30 HP - could it prevent this?
  2. I apologize in advance if this is not a bug but something that's supposed to happen, but using the search function I didn't find anything about it, so I thought I should mention it. The title pretty much says it all, when I stun aliens (with the baton) the local forces still kill them (and, in this case, my soldier as well since he heroically stood between the civilians and the alien ). Don't shout at me if this was already covered and I was just too stupid to see it
  3. Has anyone actually successfully used a stun grenade to any effect? I have not been able to inflict any stun damage at all with them as far as I can tell. Are they bugged? Or stun gas of any kind? <!-- These are used in the code and the names should be changed in both places - here and in the code --> Maybe that didn't get changed in the code?
  4. I assume this is an animation glitch, but I stunned an alien and he turned blue but didn't fall down. I had just stunned the alien that's now asleep just to the left of the wooden crate (hard to see behind the other soldier), but the one at the corner of the blue container is stunned, but standing.
  5. Hello! Don't know where to write about this... On Geoscape in the right down corner i have an Objective string like this: "Alien Officer interrogation"... I did it long time ago for Sectoid. Made a research. And from that moment i captured(stunned) many officers. But there is no research for interrogation. And i can't stun Andron robots due to bug: http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/7142-v19-SC1-Ground-Combat-4-electroshock-granades-for-Android-not-enough Can anyone comment this situation? What officer do I need to capture? Or it is a bug?
  6. Just tried to stun an Andron officer with 5 electroshock grenades to his face and 2 strikes with the stun baton. I think I only heard him laughing while he was asking for more... EDIT: Terribly sorry but I confused Androns with Wraiths. The mission debrief showed only a Wraith officer when in fact I killed an Andron officer judging by his red paint job. Though I was a bit suspicious since the name Andron would have been a much better fit. As it turned out that was the case all along. EDIT2: Still somewhat shaky on the subject. Can someone show a picture of an Andron officer? EDIT3: According to Sathra it was in fact an Andron I encountered. It has yet to be established if Androns are in fact subdueable though. EDIT4: Based on Calantyr's experience it is safe to assume that Androns are presently not subdueable.
  7. Hi guys, I'm just wondering how long a stunned alien is likely to stay down? Also, do snatch and grabs work? Can you just shove them in the ship and lift off like in UFO:EU? Cheers
