Hello I´m wondering if I should wait for the game to be finished before I start playing it. When is the game actually going to be done/released? Awesome game already judging by the little I´ve played! Thanks!

Hello everyone, Just bought the alpha today and am downloading now. Curious about one thing. The description of the game say: So obviously that date is unrealistic considering the game is still in alpha. What is the current target release date?

The new XCOM has a big budget and is already on magazines and internet articles everywhere, besides being developed by some big and famous publisher and developer (2K and Firaxis with Sid Meier supervising). Xenonauts and XCOM are scheduled to be released on the same time period (autumn on north-hemisphere). When the exact xcom release day is known, Goldhawk please try to release Xenonauts at least 2 weeks earlier or better even before, to stand a chance. Even selling on well known portals like Steam won't be good enough because people with a small budget will choose xcom of course. I will buy xcom and play both but that's an exception. I only knew about Xenonauts because someone mentioned the game on Steam's Xcom specific forum. -
Not beta 3.072.a or beta 7.04sc1. An actual 1.0 'the game is released' release. I know there are no guarantees but I'm curious about a ball park estimate. Are we talking January? January of 2014? Any idea?

Firstly I know what you're thinking and no this is nothing to do with the terrorist group in Spain... I just wanted to ask Chris if he knew roughly (no pressure at all) when the ETA for Xenonauts is. I'm happy for Goldhawk to take as long as they need to make the game as awesome as possible. I just need to know if I should be saving my last weeks worth of holiday from work for the Xenonauts release this year, or if it won't be till next year sometime? Thanks

So I'm about to pre order xenonauts, been waiting for a new "X-com" for a long time and this one looks just like it. However I have one question, when can we expect the game to be released? I know it's a difficult one to answer but can we expect it this year at least? Also will see more kinds of vehicles, weapons and armors than in the original X-com? Great game as it may be but having 3 types of weapon ( laser, plasma, ballistic) was kind of boring in the long run. Thanks in advance for the time spent reading and answering my two questions
