Hello, my friends. I really had tough times last month, now having some spare time to spend on anti-alien war. I started the game on veteran difficulty.... You know, it is good to see even one person in team which represent the country where you live. The balance of nations was good enough in previous builds. But ... I started over the game nearly 25 times... and after looking at soldiers enlisted I went to hire menu. Believe me if you can in all these times I NEVER MEET A SINGLE RUSSIAN MAN OR WOMAN. So the probability of appearance of Russian man or woman in game is less than 1:500 (enlisted plus proposed to hire). This is very interesting number especially in time when whole list of countries on Earth consists of 258 countries. The figures look like discrimination based on the nationality. There were different words with the similar meaning. Thank you for giving me attempt to get pleasure playing the game, but in current situation I feel strange feelings that are definitely far from pleasure.

I have played an earlier build and I will be buying the Steam version on Tuesday. What I would like to know is what nations have been added since the 17 build... It's not important but it is a little thing I like to see in these games; like Israeli Soldiers fighting alongside Turks, or Brits with Argentinians.

So here I'm getting ready to post a note about a German soldier from the "5th Shock Army". Only the Soviets ever used the "Shock Army" designation (and maybe the Chinese, but I digress) so how could a German have served in that unit? Duh, says I to myself, it's 1979 ... the guy's obviously EAST German. Soviet practice was to incorporate Warsaw Pact divisions within Soviet Armies ... which would be like the US putting a British division in V Corps. They figured letting their satellites have all-East German or all-Polish corps and armies would be a bad, bad thing. You guys are on TOP of this! So, any chance of a Czech? With their consonant-rich names? (Heh.)
