  1. First time happened with version 9.3.1 i think, in ground combat during hidden movement on alien or civilian turn. I thought this was related to the Hidden Movement Screen Freeze. However i had those before and the game was still responsive (it didn't crash, was able to close it down normally). What this did however, was that it made the game and also Windows completely unresponsive too. Only solution was to shut down the computer. Happened a second time yesterday with version 9.5, also in ground combat, but this time during the debriefing screen after civilian turn after i had killed the last alien, pressed End Turn and won. As far as i know, user-mode programs shouldn't be able to do this (excluding input unresponsiveness, caused by low level hooks, but i'm not sure if that's the case here), and it has happened previously with Far Cry 2 in conjunction with some visible graphical artifacts in specific areas of the horizon in vegetation. The freezing was fixed by updating display drivers, and i notice that Catalyst 12.4 is available now, so i'll try that. There were no graphical glitches present while the game and Windows froze this time around though. So i'm not sure if this is a bug in Xenonauts considering these two things, but it's a bad problem, as i wouldn't want everything to crash while playing Xenonauts. Has anyone else had this problem?
