  1. Hello everyone, Michael here, and I just wanted to sort of get to know my fellow Xenonauts a little bit and discuss some things, starting with what are some of your favorite games? It can be any kind, as long as it's talked about in a little bit of detail, I like getting to know the other members of the forums when I can, and while I've been somewhat vocal since I started posting here, I haven't had much opportunity to do that, so I thought what better ice breaker on a video game forum, than video games? C: Some of my favorites include Fallout New Vegas, I just love the sheer amount of mods that game has on the PC, and I've logged well over 400-500 hours since that game was released on the 360, It might not have a better story than the third game in the franchise (Which is also a favorite of mine), but it has the best experience to me, especially with the DLC..though I typically play Honest Hearts just so I can get that FBI looking Vest, It looks so out of place to be dressed as someone you might see from a criminal drama like NCIS or something that I just love the vest, plus, it has 13 damage resistance and it's light armor, Fuck yeah! Another favorite, and this one is new, would be Dragon Age Origins; Now...lemme start this off by saying the series originally had low appeal to me, I bought the second game in the franchise first, and not only was that the only RPG I found myself bored with to the point of just not wanting to make a second play through, (I think the only other RPG I didn't replay was Mass Effect 3, but for vastly different reasons), but the story just felt lackluster, this was further cemented into my mind when I played Dragon age Origins about 3 years after I got 2, by the sheer fact that Origins? kicks Dragon age 2 to the curb in so many ways, the characters are interesting as heck, the plot is more fun, the combat is more fun, and that's on the Console, on the PC? it's made even better by the amount of mods you can get (I love mods, shush), not to mention, You can conquer the land if you want to, You don't HAVE to be the good guy, > Speaking of games you don't have to be the good guy in, the Kotor series, I consider these two inseparable to one another, but If I had to choose one over the other, It'd be Kotor 2, just for the sheer fact that as a starwars game, that was the Darkest I've ever seen the entire franchise get, and I loved every second of the main character's struggle to regain her connection to the force, She is probably my favorite jedi (By cannon the main character in TSL is a woman, and I always play woman in RPGs, so, Yeah), and this is one of the most nostalgic games for me, because Kotor 1 is the first game I ever played, on the first xbox I legitimately owned myself (the only other Xbox games I had played were on other peoples who had brought them over), and I just love it, even to this day. Speaking of nostalgic experiences, here's one you might not have expected, Ninja Gaiden Black. Now, something you might not know about me, I like my games hard, when I beat a game on Normal, I replay it on a harder difficulty, (or if it's halo I just start on Heroic) and I love Ninja's, I also love gore. Ninja Gaiden is where I shine, It's a mixture of both wanting to throw the controller through your TV at times, and reveling in the sheer destruction you can cause with a simple Katana, It is beautiful, and fun, I loved every game on the xbox they made (except the original Ninja Gaiden 3, the remade version Razors edge though? fixed the fact that the game was TOO FRIGGEN EASY! SERIOUSLY 7 HOUR CAMPAIGN?! NOPE!), and plan on playing the NES games eventually, Ryu Hayabusa is also my favorite Ninja, <3 but yeah, those are a few of my favorite games, tell me, what are some games you all enjoy? and what caused you to enjoy them so much? I could go on and on about my favorites, but these I feel represent my interests in gaming quite a bit, C:
