Hello. I'm trying to preorder "Xenonauts", but PayPal keeps rejecting me with "We're sorry, but we can't send your payment right now" message. It does not look like a temporary problem - i'm trying for two days now. I've checked my card and PayPal account, both are valid. Moreover, Steam or GOG, for example, process my PayPal payments just fine. This is my first purchase on Desura, and i'm not sure if there are some purchase limitations i should be aware of. Perhaps, someone had encountered a similar problem and knows some kind of solution or workaround? Also, will Xenonauts be available as a pre-order on Steam? Thank you in advance and please excuse my bad english. -
I'm a bit confused about pre-order keys. On the Xenonauts web pages it reads: "STANDARD PACKAGE: - Access to play the latest development build right now! - A Steam or Desura key for the final game on release day!" If I pre-order now, will I get desura key now to play the alpha AND a free steam key when Xenonauts is released? Or what does the OR mean in this context?? -
Hey everyone, I just joined this forum after hearing about the game. I'm an old xcom fan (and I am still playing the original games). I was complaining about the firaxis game on another forum and someone told me about this one. I would love to get it but I'm pretty stupid with computer stuff. From what I understand I have to buy the game through a client like steam? There is apparently an option around that also but it's confusing to me. If you buy the game then you have perpetual access to the latest version? Also, from briefly reading I gathered the game isn't quite finished but people are talking about playing it, are they playing demos or is there unfinished versions released? I guess I'm interested in doing the easiest thing possible that allows access to the best version avaialble. Thanks for any info.

sorry, this have probably been asked a lot, but is there any other way to buy/pre-order, im not to keen on desura and would prefer to get a steam key when the time comes but i would really like to buy now and start playing the beta

Chris, some future xenonauts players may feel a little unease pre-ordering what may seem to them yet another "X-COM wanabe". So they chose the "normal" pré-order. That doesn't mean that they don't want to support the game... they just feel uneasy giving up 29$ to a, and lets face it, unknown delevolper. So i personally don't want them to feel that they aren't giving they support to the game. The bold part is the part that bothers me. It's important to change that in order that normal pré-orders feel that they too are supporting the game to some extent. like this: "The premium package is for those who want to show extra support for the project" PS: i know its a big wall of text just to change one word... but one word makes all the diference. -
So I've run into a hitch regarding re-confirming my pre-order. Namely, I've long since deleted the pay-pal email with the necessary details. Now while I recognize the folly of my actions, I'm pretty sure I'm not unique in this.
