  1. A while ago, I created sleek basic triangular cursors. Personally, I'm used to such cursors, and that was main reason, why I decided to create a classic triangular cursor for Xenonauts game. I'm willing to share, so If you find it close to your personal tastes, feel free to use it. Just move folder into assets folder, and overwrite file. Only basic cursor included, so it shouldn't conflict with Skitso's sleek door cursor: http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/10217-Skitso-s-Sleek-door-cursor Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ldvv5t39z9sctn/cursor.zip
  2. Just posting this as promised. These are some modifications I made to the current standard cursors to make troops easier to select. They have problems with the tops of the cursors lying under the selected object instead of over. I will look into sorting that if I decide to redo these properly as they are just to make things easier for me at the moment. I have added them here so anyone who wants to try them out can do so. Hopefully saving them from my posts will work anyway
  3. The addition of a second cursor over the head of troops on mouseover is a useful addition to help with selecting them when not fully visible. I don't think it is quite right yet though. It appears that on mouse over the game just duplicates the existing cursor at a point somewhere around the head of the selected trooper. There is no visible connection between these circles. When you have multiple troops in close proximity this can be misleading. It is difficult to tell if the cursor you can see is the top cursor for the lower trooper or the bottom cursor for a higher trooper. I would suggest changing the system so that the spectre specifies two image files. The first is the normal bottom cursor while the second would be the image to be displayed above the selected trooper. This would allow different images to be used for top and bottom. Something like the current circle with raised areas on the bottom and the same above with the areas pointing down might work. It would also allow mods to be applied to the images separately.
