So fullscreen is buggy for me, but I can get away with playing in windowed mode. So please lock the mouse to fullscreen this would really help in teh battle scape.

In a windowed (not fiullscreen) mode, button "return to battlefield" is not so far from system "closeWindow" button. It is so easy to exit game reflexively when player, accustomed to multi-windowed applications, want only to close soldier's inventory screen... Аnd it's so annoying to fight the same unsaved battle again. Some (not all) programming systems allows to intercept closeWindow event and ask user if (s)he "really want to exit unsaved game (yes/no)". Is it possible for Xenonauts?

{I will periodically update this first post} Short Demonstration video UPDATE: download 0.2 Fixed alot of stupid errors on my part. the files uploaded were my test batch, so alot of them were kinda broken, I apologize for that. Problem: You can vault through windows as long as they're not broken. if you shoot a window before trying to vault through it, the window becomes impassable. I've went over the spectres many times and T&Eed just about everything I could, but to no avail. update:Strangely enough, you can vault through broken windows as long as it's from the inside#will need further testing#. notes: Back up your "assets\tiles\industrial and assets\tiles\Farm" folders. You'll have to start a new game for vaulting to work. The sprites included are more focused on graphic representation then detail. some windows will open in strange ways. Clipping issues are present Any help will be greatly appreciated, I do plan to finish this. Well, enjoy

Hello, I did try to find this topic somewhere, so if it has already been brought up, I'm sorry to do so again. Loving how the game is coming along so far and looking forward to seeing how it ends up. I really really don't like the way shooting through windows works in the game right now. I saw an alien through a window the other day (about 6-8 tiles away) and it took two shotgun shells to break the window while trying to kill it. Of course then I was out of AP and had to wait a turn before getting another chance. The alien actually turned around and got a shot off through the now broken window during his turn. In that instance my dude didn't get hit, but the whole thing felt really silly. I'm not going to tout realism in a game based on aliens, but windows don't feel right in the game currently. I feel like I got the jump on the alien but couldn't do anything about it. Am I alone in the opinion that store windows shouldn't stop bullets? Thanks for reading! -R
