  1. In which we spread the word on the best Kickstarter projects. So join up! Do your part! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1964463742/the-mandate
  2. I just discovered this game a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love the multiplayer mode. Does anyone else play online? EDIT: Err, I mean Frozen Synapse
  3. It's really kinda good in a 10-minute fix kinda way.
  4. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
  5. if so can you tell me if I do sign up for it.............. . how much download it uses . and what do they send to your email address? cause I don't want no spam
  6. GTA V - $266 MILLION to develop and market. Rakes in $1 BILLION in sales in three days. Actually, it's the biggest entertainment release ever too, topping the highest grossing movies in history too. In other breaking news: Xenonauts costs substantially less to develop!
  7. I've decided to play Dawn of war Dark crusade again I'm fighting with the First Kronos Imperial Guard Regiment Our commissars are ready to scare the others into a fighting state But we failed to kill our cat enemys [look at picture]
  8. I've heard a number of people talking about it. I tried it out today, and found it barely playable. The resolution is incredibly low (even with the GFX filter) and the game runs poorly in general--doesn't like to scroll in battlescape, geoscape looks choppy. I'm not sure if this was OpenXcom's fault, but I did a terror mission with 6 cyberdisks. I'm honestly not sure if it's possible to carry enough ballistic ammunition to kill that many. I'm not too concerned about the last part, but for the graphics and performance, is there a setting I'm missing?
  9. Kerberos Productions is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for their new strategy game Ground Pounders. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kerberosproductions/ground-pounders I'll just quote the What is...? from the KS campaign: You can also try out a alpha demo, which seem already really promising IMHO.

  13. Just curious if anyone else had seen this little kickstarter? I just backed it because it looks kind of fun. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1184280206/ghostcontrol-inc It has already made its (very small) goal and has a few days left. KS ends on the 7/7/13.
  14. If anyone is a fan of FPS survival horror games you should really check out all the videos of Routine. It's a FPS Sci-Fi survival horror and it looks bloody scary! Link to site here: http://www.routinegame.com/
  15. Just found out about this new cool game on kickstarter that does seem to need some more attention. It seems like it's going to be an open world game with a lot of focus on survival against all kinds of horrors. Personally I think it looks good from what they have shown so far and I totally low the concept art. Also the goal is fairly low so with some more exposure they should have a fair shot of hitting it. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1683973133/frozen-state
  16. A lot of people have made references to Jagged Alliance 2 when talking about the ground combat in Xenonauts so I thought I'd do some research. The game appears to be fairly old now, but has gotten good reviews. Can it be played on Windows 7 Home 64-bit? Those that have played it, what did you think? It's quite cheap now due to age, but I don't want to buy it unless it's a five star game like Civ 4. Any opinions would be appreciated.
  17. Anyone else playing this baby? It's a really good game, just thought I would give you the heads up that you can get it from GOG for $19 or £13. http://conquistadorthegame.com/features/
  18. Yes it's the fall alright! It's not a PC game, how the hell could they do this!? [video=youtube;p1b8k469DbY]
  19. Thought people here might be interested in this. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/doublefine/double-fines-massive-chalice?ref=users
  20. Hello community! If you need something to take of the edge and desperately need to shoot at someone, until the full release of Xenonauts... check out Blacklight Retribution!! It's a very nice First Person Shooter with some great ideas in place (has a built-in wallhack, so no more camping!!!). Absolutely worth a shot! (literally!) And if you are in a helping mood, follow my Referral Link so I can get some extra goodies from the game!! If you don't want to click on links from random strangers and just want to check out the game, no hard feelings.... just visit their homepage (http://blacklight.perfectworld.com/about/)
  21. Seems like a classic TBS wargame, I like the zoom out functionality, but I'm most interested in seeing whether it hits the tablet stretch goal. I'm not sure it'd be compelling enough to play on my PC, but it'd be awesome to have as a random time killer when afk. Then again it'd probably just be cheaper to buy it ala carte. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingartgames/battle-worlds-kronos-turn-based-strategy-revisited?ref=live
  22. Bit of a heads up just in case there are any turn based strategy games here on the forum. The same people who are making the new version of Space Hulk are also now making a Jagged Alliance prequel. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2079547763/jagged-alliance-flashback?ref=live The Jagged Alliance: Flashback kickstarter will run until May 23rd and is only asking for $350k. Currently they have over $25k.
  23. Steam seems to think I would like it - it's recommended it to me. Anyone played it?
