I play EVE Online since the beta test which started around the same time as the beta test for WOW. At least I got approved for both around the same time.
After I played WOW for a couple of hours I uninstalled it and kept playing EVE.
I have been paying for my subscription for EVE with ISK's for 3 years now. And I still have a few billion ISK's in my wallet
Nothing feels better than being part of a nice (organised) gang of 10 to 30 players and see groups of 50 to 100 players running for their lives, or just sitting inside stations. This of course is after our small group kills 10's of their ships without 1 single loss on our side.
I was part of Exceed for almost a year, and this was our day to day gaming style.
Go to neighbour systems controlled by our enemies, and disrupt their money making schemes.
Scanning players doing complexes or level 5 missions, and blow up their ships and dividing the loot.
Sometimes joining 200+ ships fleets and go destroy a few POS to conquer more 0.0 space.
This was all in 0.0 space of course.
If you never lived in 0.0 space before, yes you will be bored out of your skull.
After you feel the adrenaline of PVP you will be hooked, be it small gang or huge fleet battles.
Having good FC's makes all the difference.
