  1. Hi and nice to hear about this update! Any idea when it will be released? This month? This year? I'd like to start a new playthrough at some point but now I want to wait for this update. Yeah, I know there is X:CE, but for some reason I'd like to wait for this update before I go to that mod.
  2. Well there is something weird going on with grenades and alien AI I think. They are sometimes thrown to places where I have no clue how the alien would know that someone is exactly there at that tile. I once made a thread about one such case. Other than that, everything seems ok.

  4. Ah yes he had shield. And on the first occurrence there was a group of soldiers behind the wall. That explanation sounds plausible.
  5. So this has happened twice for me now. I kill 3 or 4 aliens and then the map is revealed instantly as if I had cleared the command room. Also, there is some kind of another bug on this second alien base mission. If I see an alien who then goes to hiding or my soldiers go to cover so that LOS is lost, the game still tells me where the alien is by showing the orange alien symbol on the right side of the screen, and snaps the screen to the location if the orange button is clicked. The alien is not visible on the screen. This bug remains on the following rounds, so I know where the aliens I once saw are going.
  6. No I'm not saying that it's cheating to throw grenade at only one guy. But in 191 hours of playing I have not seen a grenade thrown at a soldier who is alone. But the real question was that how it threw it to the right tile. Only stopped to that tile since he ran out of TUs. So I'm wondering what kind of experiences others have from these kinds of situations. I have seen people complainin before that it is almost as if the alien AI knew how much TUs soldiers have left. I have yet to see a grenade thrown to a wrong tile by alien soldier...
  7. I just had this happen in my game. My guy moves as the red arrow shows to tile A. Alien reaction fires from the green tile. My guy shoots at the alien and then runs for cover to tile C. After that my other guys come from cover to tiles marked with B. Then I end my turn. On the alien turn the alien behind the container does not show himself (my other guy probably would have reaction fired him). Instead a grenade flies from the green tile to my wounded guy at C and kills him. So my question is how does the cleverness of AI explain this? In addition to the exact spot, it seems that it knew that there are more than one guy since the alien threw a grenade, but we can't be sure of that. Also, I didn't see any other aliens who could have seen me there. Curious thing is that I have had this happened once before and then it was again on this same map. I didn't understand how the alien knew I was behind a wall and threw a grenade there, and it was an alien that was spawned around that same location too. It threw the grenade over the long wall which is southeast from the location on the screenshot. EDIT: Do aliens throw grenades at lonely soldiers?
  8. There is a button in 1.13 which tells you where the enemy sees. I don't remember which button it was but it showed the tiles enemy can see clearly as green, tiles behind a cover as yellow and tiles the enemy can't see as red. Or something like that.
  9. Terve Teppo taas! I was playing a terror mission a while ago and encountered a few problems. The highlighted soldier downstairs was stuck and couldn't move away from that spot. I tried to save and reload the game but that didn't do it. I don't know if it has anything to do with the map.   10. I think that clearing the command room reveals the map but does not remove the fog of war, so you still have to find the remaining alien(s). Since the map is now revealed it may show rooms you have not actually cleared yet.
  11. I'm now playing on insane and I could stream my game. But this is my first playthrough and I think I want to play it just by myself at first. But when I start my second I can let you know. First I played a bit on normal, then a bit on veteran and then I thought the difficulty could still be higher. Lets see what happens when biggest UFOs come around
  12. Hello! So when I go to ground combat missions I may bring extra ammo to drop somewhere just in case. But then I have to memorize the place since there are no pictures for just ammo on the ground? There could be at least one picture for that, to show that there is some type of ammo on the ground. Is there an easy way to assign some picture to that purpose?
  13. Hello and thanks for the mod! I installed it yesterday and already had some new maps. But now I have a map which has some invisible tiles on it. (Gamewise they are there, blocks movement and gives cover but the graphics do not appear.) I believe the map is from this mod?
