I've heard somewhere armor degrades, is that true? And if so do you have to replace it every so often?? Thanks

I'm confused why everyone being Corporal is a problem. it wouldn't be unheard of especially when the Xenonauts are supposed to be these hand picked elite soldiers. considering Corporal is three ranks higher than private.
