I don't try to fight on the Exalt extraction missions. My operative is there to try to solo the hacks, or failing that just try to get out cleanly. I'm at just over 20 KIA so far, with one Major, two Sergeants, and a pair of Corporals my highest ranks lost so far (and most of those were things I remember being mistakes on my part). The rest are all assorted PFCs and such that didn't really hurt too much.
