  1. I believe that the game was recently updated to ignore incompatible save files, i.e. saves for previous builds.
  2. Well, that kind of gauge clearly wouldn't be adequate for health, now would it =P There used to be a grey indicator in the OG, but not in Xenonauts that I've noticed. Not that I need it to be like the OG, but it would be nice to not have it be a guessing game.
  3. I realize that this is rather late to be asking this, but is there currently some way to gauge stun damage? I don't notice any way, though I could be wrong. It makes it difficult to maneuver with smoke if I have no way of telling how much a soldier has taken.
  4. In the Geoscape screen, moving the cursor around the map causes the expected change in funding to decrease. Moving over certain countries seems to be fine, but for others that are perhaps already in the negative it does decrease. Not sure if this happens from the get go, or perhaps when you start losing money for some countries. Also, I can't tell if this is just a problem with the ticker, or if funding is actually being lost.
  5. I want to first of all congratulate the dev team for their outstanding work. V18 has been incredibly stable for me, night and day from the previous builds. Here's a laundry list of bugs. I think some of them may have been reported elsewhere, but I figure this will just be +1 then: Geoscape/Base Management: (1) Once I make the upgrade to Alenium explosives and Laser Weaponry, if I try to equip a profile containing outdated equipment (basic frag rockets, basic frag grenades, etc), or if I equip a profile with limited quantity equipment, such as laser weaponry or armour, I lose the previously equipped equipment e.g. I'll lose Wolf armour or laser weapons. (2) I lose equipment if a soldier is injured (not wounded) and fully heals while still wearing equipment. (3) When I come back from missions, my soldiers are wearing the equipment as it was changed during the mission, rather than what I assigned them before it (e.g. used grenades are gone, weapons switched). A minor inconvenience, but, the real problem is the ammo amounts in the primary weapon. They will have whatever ammo was left over from the mission, such as 6/12, which rolls over into the next ground combat mission, leaving me in a bind if I forgot to check. I deal with this by simply un-equipping and re-equipping, but it think that it possibly causes me to get cloned weapons. I'm not entirely sure that this is the cause, but I definitely am getting free weapons occasionally. (4) Pressing escape while a soldier is selected on the personnel list screen causes the assignment menu to pop down. Accidentally doing this for multiple soldiers and then trying to leave caused a CTD. The CTD doesn't always happen, but I think the problem might have been when I was training soldiers, since I think the menu can't be open for them. Ground Combat: (5) I'm sure this is reported elsewhere, but if I reload a ground combat mission, I can no longer see inside the UFO, all units can shoot through walls, and I don't get points for securing it. (6) Point blank shooting (aliens in immediately adjacent tiles) is bugging out. The soldier doesn't turn in the right direction, and half the time doesn't even shoot in the right direction. Most noticeable with burst fire (specifically when dealing with reapers that sneak up on me) (7) When I get a severely damaged Corvette (engine/reactor? exploded), the tileset is completely missing inside the inner chamber i.e. I just see ground tiles underneath the barriers/screens. (8) When my soldiers reaction fire upon Reapers, it's hidden by the Hidden Movement screen. I do get an overlay saying Reaction Fire though. I'm not entirely certain that it's only Reapers, but I do know that I never see Reaction Fire against Reapers. (9) When I upgrade to Alenium rockets, the rocket launcher still has a basic frag rocket loaded by default on ground missions. No way of changing it in the equip screen, and frag rockets aren't even equip-able anymore. Finally (whew) I do still get the very occasional scout/landing ship, and Hidden movement lockup during the Alien's turn before the civvies move, but I don't need to go in depth with that. These are minor nuisances, but thankfully overall the game is extremely playable at this point, sans balancing of course. Again, thanks for all your hard work, keep it up! PS I should also note that I'm playing in Wineskin on Mac. I'm assuming that these aren't Mac specific, since problems specifically with Wine tend to be of the CTD nature.
  6. Ditto. I also was easily able to make it work without any prior experience with Wineskin. There are no issues or bugs that weren't already a problem when I was running it on my PC desktop.
