Guys, anyone playing the turn based Chaos Reborn game? I'm completely on full hype level, it's a great concept. It's turn based, you cast spells and creatures, it's about probabilites, bluffing and greaaaat fun. I'm on > 100 games now and my win level is about 40% in MP. Friendly and still small and nice community. Single player AI since today update. I was so hyped I even bought the $100 Wizard King. Looks like it will be very successful. Hi guys, I'm running 1.09 Steam experimental branch. My first steps with modding are terrible. I was interested in more maps, translation and the UI overhaul which makes it more dark. Copy over files to Assets folder, start Xenonauts... Well, haven't seen Xenonauts crash so often. Every time I want to create a base in middle east: crash of exe. Then I let Steam check integrity and download files. Still not sure which mod(s) cause crashes. General question: Is modding a dangerous thing? Is copy order of different mods important? Your experience pls. EDIT: I'm on experimental branch. Should I use community edition?

Mit Xenonauts 1.09 funktioniert es nicht richtig, oder? Basis erstellen im mittleren Osten, "OK" klicken, Crash.

On a 1920x1200 screen I see this:

Resoulution is 1920x1200, Screen is set to 125% (that windows setting in near the display options, where you can choose 100-150%), Xenonauts is 1.03. At first ground combat, message boxes appear. It's all very nicely readable, but not all text can be seen. At the bottom there is probably some more.

Yeah, I'm a silver medalist, Gorlom is gold medalist I think $20 is a good price for the game. But I honestly wouldn't mind if it was on Steam sale for $ 0.01. For a short while, that is.

Hmm. If you turn off auto updates, but there is an update waiting: Doesn't Steam disallow to play the game? IIRC it refuses to play until you made the update. Or am I wrong here..?

Click Berlin. You can choose between Berlin and Prague then. If you then click Berlin -> Game over.

Start game, click on Berlin as base -> game over, the aliens win.

Nice how you say Gunter (ü is very different from u ) The title card looks like the best title card ever.

Also, there's no optimization for amber screens.

Hi, unfortunately I have no savegame. I had a first ground combat and my team got slaughtered completely while one alien was left. IIRC there was an endless aliens turn, not sure. After all, xenonauts.exe crashed. Win7x64. I'm not on any legacy or beta program in Steam game settings...

We didn't start the fire.

It's on my wishlist. Too expensive for me at the moment (given that I have like 100 games in my queue which need my attention )

Hi, sometimes I really feel like playing faster. I wish there were no running animations... some turn based games have optional quickmodes, I think CIV or Alpha Centauri have it... Are there any thoughts to implement something like this? Technically, it should make the games life even easier I think Best regards Michael

Well at first I said "XCOM FPS - couldn't care less" but hey, it looks interesting. Just not feeling ready to pay > EUR40 for it.

So if I use Xenonauts with Steam, I will never have to download a complete 4 GB package again?

Is it just me? I click the numbers for a soldier or press 1-8 and the map centers around the selected soldier. But very often e.g. the soldiers are to the left and I want to see the right side. And I click the numbers because I know "2 is the sniper"... So I wish there was the option to turn off the auto centering and to have a dedicated hotkey for centering, or centering only if soldier is out of visible area...

Hi, on my Lenovo W500 Notebook, which has a 1920x1200 screen resolution, the weapon descriptions top right on the soldier screen (Accuracy, Range etc.) are too small. They are hard to read. They look like they sould be like 2pts bigger. Michael
