What happend to the mac version?

redownloading 17.1 to test if it´s smother on my new iMac 8-)

Any news on the Mac Build? I dident even realise it got 1.6.1 yet. A newsletter on these things would be great!

I just tried the game on Win7 via Bootcamp on the same hardware and there were no performance problems. (well, since i use apples touch mouse the game constantly registered me as scrolling which was kinda annoying in battle - would be nice if i could turn that of in the mac version or reduce the sensibility) When i start the mac version everything lags, even the world map or the start menu. I would not go as far as saing the PC Version is flawless in speed, but the lag i had over there was something i would have not noticed at all since i am fairly used to everything working a bid slower on this old computer. But hey, maybe there finaly will be new iMac next week.

Hey guys, i just learned about this game yesterday and immediately bought it. Right now i am a little confused by the tens of thousands posts that can already be found. I am in quiet a lot of Indy Dev Suporter Forums and it´s hard to keep up with the ton of stuff that gets put outthere. Sadly some of the users get downright aggressive if you dare to post something that has been posted before. So i would like to ask you to provide me and other noobs a cool must read list of Forum and game related stuff from the Interwebs. Sort of a "things you should now" list.

I just ordered the premium Version. OS X 10.8.2 (12C60) ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo I just gave it a short test in window mode. It´s fairly lagy and took over a minute to even start. I assume thats a problem already on your table and ready for fixing (since there is no way a 2d based game should take this long) even if my iMac is a bit older. I´ll return later when i found some time to play - if you need help at a specific part of the game with my kind of oldish mac computer don´t hesitate to drop me a mail. c ya P.s. i also got a macbook but i rarly use it for gameing. If needed i give you the specifics and try to test.
