Yes, this happened while i was playing too. It also seems that i was able to safely return after clicking no and finishing air combat mission with 2% fuel left while i was a good bit away from base.

It worked for 2-3 missions and then the shield dissappeared with no changes made, I also couldn't find a way to re-quip either.

I have standard pre-order and can confirm that when i send my unit to engage in mission at ground site after downing ufo it CTD's. what exactly is a while? a couple of days?

It really is unplayable right now. 4th time having CTD corrupt my save files, has happen with alot of the bugs reported already. 0% aim in plain sight, grenades exploding, air combat, etc. This is my first post and I just pre-ordered last night around 7pm est
