  1. Looks like the air combat race condition bug is still there. Two air fights happen at the same time, music plays twice, plane display of one is shown on the right, etc.
  2. I am hitting a weird bug - I have 4 soldiers training and 4 ready to go - but one of the soldiers in training is still showing up in my Chinook, on a mission. No idea how she showed up there or why. I am also seeing that one of my soldiers is wounded but when he is on the mission, he has full health.
  3. Hey, I just got an alien that spawned inside the wall of the UFO. It's the medium sized one, and he was right at the exit. I could see him just fine, but I could target him only when I came at him from one direction. If I came at the alien from the right, I couldn't target or hit him. If I came at him from the left, I could target him.
  4. The "hang" on some saved games is still around. According to the task manager the game keeps using up CPU and allocating more and more memory, so I am thinking there is an infinite loop in there somewhere. I killed it at 700 MB. Can provide the saved game if necessary.
  5. I suspect that the aliens are placed in random locations on the map, and this time the alien died immediately. I had a game where for a couple of turns I kept hearing aliens dying - I think they were placed inside of their burning UFO. One of them was outside however and I got to kill him.
  6. This build seems to be much more unstable than the previous one. I am hitting CTDs all over the place. Now the last 6 of my saved games cause a CTD. I saved each one when absolutely nothing was going on, in the geo view. I don't think I will keep trying to play this game - I don't want to retrace my steps yet again. The only commonality with these last six saved games that I can think of is that I used the work-around to get more soldiers for my bases a couple of times. I couldn't hire any more soldiers, so I started a new game, saved it, then loaded the main game, and hired soldiers that way. My guess is that this is why the game is crashing all the time now.
  7. Oh, you can retreat that way too. Interestingly, if you retreat and a missile follows you, you can't maneuver outside the grid and the missile will hit you. However, if you pause the game when the fighter is outside the grid, then in a few seconds the game will let you out of the fighter view and your fighter will not get damaged.
  8. Yes, I think it might have been a terror sight with no buildings.
  9. Somehow I got one of my soldiers into a place where he can't be selected with the mouse. I can still get to him through other means, but when I try to select the guy using a mouse, I just get a path from my current soldier to this one. This could be an old bug but I haven't seen it before.
  10. Got a Mig accidentally into a combat with 3 fighters. Then hit the wrong button - afterburner - and unpaused. Then hit the "run away" button. Then crashed.
  11. This may be a known issue, but I just got a consistent CTD when loading an autosave game. I think this autosave was made right after I got payed for the month.
  12. If you take a soldier into the engine section of the scout, have him walk through it, and tell him to go outside, he opens the door and then just stands there apparently walking in place. You keep getting walking sounds forever, but the soldier doesn't move. If you click outside again the soldier recovers and moves. See attached screenshot:

I created a base and somehow got into a state where no soldiers could be hired - I could hit the counter and the system would increase the charge, but the number of hired soldiers would remain at zero. See attached screenshot 1. Then when I tried to increment the worker counter, it updated the soldier counter as well - both the number of soldiers and workers to be hired incremented, but I was not charged for the soldiers. They also didn't get hired when i did this. See attached screenshot 2. Finally, until I used the start new game & then load the existing one, I couldn't get more soldiers to hire.
  14. I once again got a case with double air combat. Only one UFO and one plane were in the air at the time, but I could hear double music - and after I defeated the UFO the game crashed.
